USC picks up two commitments from Florida

Ocala, Fla., high school teammates Antonio Allen and Dion Lecorn committed to USC on Wednesday. Both players visited USC in early September and favored the Gamecocks since then.

Allen is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound defensive back. LeCorn (6-0, 205) is wide receiver.

“It feels great,” Allen said. “I never thought I’d be going to a D-1 school. I’m proud of myself.”

“It feels real good,” Lecorn said. “It’s an honor for a receiver to play under coach Spurrier. There’s a lot of people proud of me. Coach Spurrier Jr. said I will have a chance to play a big role next year.”
