Top recruits commit
by Jamie Newberg
The rich keep getting richer. During a span of five days, recruiting juggernaut USC picked up a pair of four-star products and one five-star recruit. The ball got rolling when Michael Reardon, a defensive end/offensive tackle from Lutheran High in Orange, Calif., committed to the Trojans just three days after receiving an offer from Pete Carroll and his staff.
Reardon joins prep teammate Aaron Corp, a quarterback who committed to USC in May. A day later, Marc Tyler, from Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, Calif., and Scout.com's No. 2 running back, pledged to the Trojans. Just after Tyler gave his word to USC, his teammate, Marshall Jones, a four-star safety ranked fifth nationally by Scout.com, chose the Trojans.
