Christopher Ashone Claiborne (born July 26, 1978 in San Diego) was a first-team All American graduate of the University of Southern California.
Claiborne attended John W. North High School in Riverside, California, where he starred in both football and basketball. In football, he was an All-State pick at both running back and linebacker as a senior.
He then moved to USC and played linebacker. Claiborne is the only Trojan to have won the Dick Butkus Award as the nation's best college linebacker.
Claiborne currently is a free agent after he was released by the Rams in 2006. Previously, he played for the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, and the St. Louis Rams. |
